The BW-V10 Ultra is a new and very affordable projector that runs on Android and can play 4K content from streaming services such as Netflix. BlitzWolf’s newest projector is also compact and therefore quite portable.
The BlitzWolf BW-V10 Ultra projector can now be preordered for a very affordable price of just under $120 including free shipping on Banggood. Potential import fees are not included in this price, but delivery to the US apparently takes about a month. According to the manufacturer, the LCD projector measures 3.7 x 7.6 x 3.3 inches and weighs 2.4 lbs.
The spec sheet also reveals a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, but the BW-V10 Ultra can also play 4K content and then downscale it. Furthermore, it has a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens, which is pretty low compared to more expensive projectors and means that users will have to darken their room. Since there’s no zoom lens, the projection ratio is fixed at 1.25:1. Consequently, a projection size of 40 to 120 inches requires a distance of 5 to 11.5 ft.
HDMI can be used to hook up external devices, which is not always necessary since the projector runs on Android and has access to numerous streaming apps. Dual-band WiFi is available as well and can be used to mirror the screen of smartphones or tablets. Last but not least, a remote control is included, and the BlitzWolf projector offers an audio output, USB port and Bluetooth.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
