The Amazfit T-Rex 2 is gearing up to become India's latest GPS-enabled, AMOLED-display smartwatch. It is also touted as "ready for action" with a second-gen rugged build and specs such as 10ATM water-resistance and an up-to-24-day battery life. The T-Rex 2 will become available through Amazon.in imminently.

Amazfit's latest move in its campaign to take the Indian smartwatch market on with an onslaught of new Amazon listings involves introducing the new T-Rex 2 via this platform. The watch seeks to ensure its outdoorsy appeal with dual-band, 5-satelllite independent GPS: specs touted to upgrade it to on-wrist real-time navigation through an upcoming OTA software update.

In the meantime, the user can still enjoy all its round AMOLED display has to show them, which includes about 150 sports modes (with on-device lap- and progressing-recording abilities). The T-Rex 2's screen is rated to stay on in extreme conditions (such as temperatures as low as -30°C) thanks to the MIL-STD 810G certifications for its ostensibly rugged-class build.

Amazfit has indicated that the second-gen T-Rex will become available in all of its 4 colorways on its release to the Indian market, slated to occur on July 2, 2022 via Amazon.in. It is projected to start at INR 15,999 (~US$203) on that date; for context, its immediate predecesso the Pro goes for INR 12,999 (~$165) today.
