New versions of the Amazfit Helio Strap are on the way. This fitness-tracking wristband was officially released worldwide on June 24th. A limited HYROX edition of the wearable was unveiled earlier in June, though it does not appear that this will go on general sale.
The first standard version of the Amazfit Helio Strap is black. At the brand’s online store in the US, a second white/gray variant is also shown. It has a white and gray patterned band with a light gray casing and is marked as “Coming Soon”. This lighter version of the wearable is also mentioned in a Japanese press release alongside a third gray/black variant.
The gray/black model has a dark gray fabric brand and casing with bright orange accents. According to the source, these two additional colorways will launch in this country at the end of July. It is unclear whether this is also the global release date. These two new colorways are expected to retail for $99.99/£99.90/€99.90, like the original version.
It also appears that a Premium version of the Amazfit Helio Strap will be released. An image of the instruction manual, shared on Reddit, points to this fourth variant of the wearable. Under the ‘Package contents section’, it states that “the premium version also includes: arm strap, middle frame (3 pieces)”.
This suggests that the Helio Strap Premium will be able to be worn on the upper arm as well as the wrist, thanks to the accompanying accessories. It is unclear whether or not there will be any further differences between the standard and premium versions of the wearable. When the Amazfit Helio Strap Premium will launch or how much it will cost remains to be seen.
