Update | Amazfit Helio Strap launches as screenless fitness tracker with 10-day battery life

Amazfit has officially launched the Helio Strap in China. It's a screenless fitness tracker that weighs around 20 grams (about 0.04 lbs). While it's lightweight, the company claims that the smart bracelet is packed with health and fitness features. It's said to be capable of offering 24/7 health monitoring, including heart rate, sleep, blood pressure, and SpO2.

This new lightweight fitness tracker also has what the company calls BioCharge energy monitoring score. It's similar to Garmin's Body Battery, offering insight into the user's energy levels to determine the intensity of workouts. Speaking of which, there are 27 sports modes on the Helio Strap.

The company further highlights the Hyrox Competition Mode, which is an exclusive workout mode designed to track performance in fitness races. Other than that, the fitness tracker is said to be capable of performing post-training analysis. It's said to offer insight into the recovery time, VO2 max, exercise load, and other core indicators.

All the data that the Helio Strap collects can be synchronized with Apple Health and other major fitness platforms. Amazfit also has the Zepp app, which users can use to manage and access the data from the fitness tracker. Among the other highlights are the rated 10-day battery life, a magnetic charging system, and a 5 ATM waterproof rating.

Price-wise, the Amazfit Helio Strap launched in China at CNY 699, around $97. The fitness tracker is expected to land on the global market soon, and the rumored international price is $79.99.
