The Acer Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 have been shown off at IFA 2025. Both models use vastly different AMD CPUs and pair them with Nvidia RTX 50 series GPUs.

Acer has shown off two Nitro-branded gaming desktops as affordable alternatives to the Predator Orion 7000 and Predator Orion 5000. However, the Nitro 70 is arguably better than both Predators thanks to its AMD Zen 5 X3D CPU. The Nitro 50, on the other hand, is a budget option with a CPU to match.

The Acer Nitro 70 can be specced with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, GeForce RTX 5090, 128 GB of DDR5-6000 RAM, 2 TB of solid-state storage (2x PCIe Gen 4) and a 4 TB mechanical drive. On the other hand, the Nitro 50 is limited to a Ryzen 7 8700G and a GeForce RTX 5080. A questionable CPU and GPU pairing, even for a budget build. Memory and storage options are identical across both SKUs.

Connectivity options on the Acer Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 include Wi-Fi 7, 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet, two USB 3.2 Type-C ports, five USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports and the regular selection of audio inputs. The Nitro 70 comes with a 360 mm AIO cooler, but Acer didn't specify what type of cooler is used on the Nitro 50. Similarly, the former comes with a 1,200-Watt PSU while the latter is restricted to 850 Watts.

The Acer Nitro 70 starts at EUR 1,999 and the Nitro 50 at EUR 1,699. Those prices likely refer to the entry-level variants for each, but Acer hasn't specified what hardware they come with. They hit shelves in Q1, 2026.
