Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) on Geekbench
Although previous benchmarks revealed a Snapdragon-powered device, a new device that appears to be a Galaxy On7 variant has been spotted with the Exynos 7870 inside.

Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) has been in the rumor mill for a while, and a few benchmarks made it online already as well. However, it looks like this upcoming handset will come in more variants, and depending on the market, it might feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip or an Exynos SoC by Samsung.

The first Galaxy On7 (2016) variant spotted online in a benchmark database was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, next to 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It also had a 4.8-inch full HD display, an 8 MP camera for selfies, and a 13 MP main shooter on its back. The latest model, dubbed SM-G610F, made its appearance on Geekbench sporting an Exynos 7870 chip, 3 GB RAM, and running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The SM-G610F has also been spotted on Zauba, and it looks like it might soon become the first mid-range Android handset to feature a fingerprint sensor and a price below $225 USD. Unfortunately, the handset has only been imported for testing at this time, and there is no information about its release date yet, but we will keep you posted as usual.
