Reviews for the realme 10 Pro

The Realme 10 Pro smartphone is not improved that much compared to the last year’s Realme 9 Pro since you are getting the same 5G chipset, battery life, and charging speed, except this year, the company added the latest Android version, slightly boosting the processing power, and rendering a bigger camera lens. Apart from this, you will find the core specs are almost identical. We all know that the Realme mid-range phones don’t improve that much, and they are using the same formulae as any other mainstream brand. They are just copy-pasting the specs and rebranding their phones. However, if you are looking for more Android updates, we would recommend you go with this phone. Aside from this, you can also go with an alternative option, the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro is still a great choice to check out.

I really like the new design language for the Realme 10 Pro in contrast to last year’s 9 series of smartphones. For around $300 you are getting a smartphone with good performance, fluid software, excellent battery life, and a big bold 120Hz display. You also get loud dual speakers and a headphone jack. Couple these features with a fast fingerprint sensor, NFC, 5G connectivity, and 33W fast charging and there’s not much you need in comparison to phones that cost double the price. Yes, there is no wide-angle camera on the rear, nor 4K video recording capability on the Realme 10 Pro. But the main camera produces some of the best pictures for still photography aside from Google’s excellent Pixel series. If you are in a geographic location where this phone is available and you can live with an IPS LCD display, then you should definitely give the Realme 10 Pro a close look.

The Realme 10 Pro improves on its predecessor in a few key ways. The primary 108MP camera, slightly improved display, the latest version of Android OS, and the additional set of dual speakers make it stand out. The device’s LCD display will give the average user a visual experience that is comparable to AMOLED panels even though it is not quite there. The device performs well in day-to-day tasks and has a long battery life. The amount of bloatware could have been reduced. It checks all the boxes in its price range to be a strong contender, but I don’t think it’s a worthy successor to the 9 series. Overall, the Realme 10 Pro appears to be a solid mid-range smartphone with a clear focus on design and photography.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G is a run-of-the-mill smartphone which does everything you’d expect from an under-Rs 20,000 Android phone and does it well. However, the Realme 10 Pro 5G’s design is the selling point here. Realme has managed to make the 10 Pro almost bezel-less with its negligible 1mm bezels, making the smartphone look almost unreal. The chin does hinder the overall full-screen design, but it's still one of the highest screen-to-body ratios we have seen on an LCD display.

The Realme 10 Pro, for its price, offers an exceptionally large viewing area with its razor-thin bezels. While not in the league of AMOLED panels, the LCD display on the device will largely provide the same experience visually for the average consumer. The device does not lag behind in performance or battery life. Yes, the primary shooter’s low-light capturing could leave you wanting for more, but I do think that this is a niggle that could be handled through software updates. Overall, I’d say the Realme 10 Pro is one of the top affordable phones in the market and possibly ahead of rivals.

The realme 10 Pro has a slim and lightweight design and offers a smooth 120 Hz bezel-less display which looks super amazing when you look at the screen. Also, a fast Snapdragon 695 CPU, a decent 108 MP camera, and offers 33W fast charging which make the phone a great choice for midrangers. Aside from these, the realme 10 Pro comes with the new realme UI 4.0 which has many features for an ideal Android 13 experience. The realme 10 Pro shines out with its specs and features under ₹20,000 budget and is recommended for those who are looking for a mid-range smartphone at this price.

Sadly, our main initial complaints about the Realme 9 Pro are not addressed in the current iteration. There are many OLED options out there (almost all competitors feature superior OLED screens), and there's no 4K video recording, which is an inherent drawback of the SD 695 chip. So, if you are planning on buying a phone right now, there are better alternatives in every category. It's not that the Realme 10 Pro is a bad phone; it just doesn't excel enough in either area to be considered at its current price tag. As time goes by, we believe that the handset will become a much better deal, but for now, even the older Realme 9 Pro+ sells for less and brings more to the table.

Qualcomm Adreno 619: Integrated (in the Snapdragon 750G) graphics card based on the Adreno 600 architecture. The performance is a lot better than the old Adreno 612.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

Only a few smartphones have larger screens.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

Only few smartphones are more lightweight than this.
