Motorola Maui: Design and specifications leak of approaching entry-level smartphone

91mobiles has leaked the design of 'Maui', another unreleased Motorola smartphone due before the end of the year. While the marketing name of 'Maui' remains unknown at this point, the leaked marketing images confirm a few device details, including the presence of a flat display. Predictably, Motorola has opted for a centred punch-hole and large bezels, underlining that it will be an entry-level handset.

Additionally, 'Maui' has four cameras, described by 91mobiles as 16 MP primary (f/2.2), 5 MP front-facing and twin 2 MP sensors for capturing depth of field and macro information. Seemingly, the device has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well, plus a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. According to 91mobiles, Motorola has only included a single downward-firing speaker too.

Elsewhere, the Motorola 'Maui' has a 720p display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset. Complemented by 3 GB of RAM, the 12 nm SoC contains eight ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. A release date for 'Maui' remains unknown, although 91mobiles expects the device to arrive within the next two months or so.
