iVanky FusionDock Ultra Thunderbolt 5 dock provides Macs with 140W of power while supporting up to four 6K displays

iVanky has launched the FusionDock Ultra, a Thunderbolt 5 expansion dock designed specifically for Apple Silicon Macs. The fan-cooled dock adds connectivity for audio, display, networking, and communications, while providing power to the attached Macintosh.

The FusionDock provides support for at least one external 6K 60Hz monitor, varying depending on the CPU. For Max/Ultra-processors Macs, it provides support for four external 6K 60Hz monitors.

The dock increases the connectivity of attached Macs with 8 USB-C ports, 4 USB-A 3.1 ports, 4 Thunderbolt 5 ports, 1 RJ45 10GbE port, 1 DP 2.1 port, 1 HDMI 2.0 port, 1 3.5mm TRRS port, 1 3.5mm audio in port, 1 3.5mm audio out port, and 1 optical audio out port. It additionally has a UHS-II SD card slot and a Kensington lock slot.

The FusionDock comes with a 240-watt power supply. One of the downstream USB-C ports outputs up to 45W PD for charging iPhones and such, while the upstream Thunderbolt 5 ports outputs up to 140W PD 3.1 for powering connected Macs.

Its electronics are mounted in a copper-alloy midframe floating inside a single piece aluminum outer frame. Two adaptive fans with a 46 dB maximum sound level are included to help maintain safe operating temperatures inside the unit.
