Deal | Zscmalls 15.6-inch 1080p portable monitor with pen hole on sale for US$120
Productivity can be stifling when you're limited to just one small monitor. Thus, some laptop makers like Asus and Lenovo are betting on dual-screen solutions like the ZenBook Pro Duo or the Yoga 2-in-1 Dual Screen that integrate multiple displays onto one shell. The problem, however, is that such model typically cost $1000 USD or more.
A cheaper and arguably more versatile solution would be to invest in a USB-C-powered secondary monitor instead like the 15.6-inch ZSCMALLS portable monitor. The monitor behaves just like a regular desktop monitor albeit in a smaller form factor for traveling or when desk space is tight. The manufacturer is claiming a weight of just 1.4 lbs, a thickness of just 0.39 inches, and an IPS panel for wider viewing angles.
There are limitations, of course. Firstly, the monitor integrates the much less common mini-HDMI port instead of full-size HDMI. Secondly, don't expect colors to be very accurate or the integrated speakers to be of very high quality. It may not be the best for graphics editing or gaming where precision colors and fast response times are needed, but the monitor should suffice for word processing, emailing, browsing, and the occasional streaming video.
Amazon is now shipping the Zscmalls for $120 USD after applying the $10 coupon code at checkout.
