Deal | ZTE Axon-series smartphones with under-display cameras are up to US$200 off on Amazon right now
The Axon 30 is one of the ultra-rare Android smartphones for US consumers that find punch-hole selfie cameras in their smartphone displays just too distracting. It comes from an OEM that is a pioneer in this area, unleashing its under-display camera (UDC) tech long before Samsung or Xiaomi could with their Galaxy Z Fold3 or Mix 4.
The Axon 30 has second-gen UDC tech rated for improved confluency between the advanced little rectangle of screen covering the selfie camera and the rest of its 6.92-inch display, according to ZTE, at least. The OEM has included its unlocked Aqua or Black 12GB RAM/256GB internal storage SKU in its latest Prime Day sale at US$399.20, or 20% off its regular price.
The Axon 40 Pro, a 2022 device with flagship specs albeit without UDC tech, also features in this event, although it has a 5% discount in that case - as does the Axon 40 Ultra, which does combine a UDC screen with the ability to do an impression of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with the rest of its design.
ZTE also offers US$20 off its AX3000 Pro, a router with cutting-edge design and Wi-Fi 6 support. These deals are available from now, although the OEM has not specified when they will be withdrawn exactly.
