IFA 2024 | Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition: Lenovo introduces new Intel Lunar Lake laptop with 15.3-inch display, 70 Wh battery and sub 1.5 kg weight
This year's IFA conference is all about Intel's latest Lunar Lake platform, which replaces Meteor Lake as its latest laptop processor architecture. The Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is no different and is just one of many Lunar Lake-powered laptops that Lenovo has unveiled today.
Unfortunately, Lenovo has not confirmed the specific processor that will underpin the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition. Instead, it claims to have installed an unnamed Core Ultra 7 chip, which will be configurable with 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM and up to a 1 TB SSD. Added to that, Lenovo has included a 70 Wh battery and a 15.3-inch IPS display that outputs at 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800) with 500 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Nonetheless, the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is said to deliver first-rate battery life; Lenovo has not provided any specifics in this regard, though. For reference, all these components fit inside a 1.43 kg housing and are joined by a 1080p webcam, Bluetooth 5.4 support and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Furthermore, Lenovo has included quad speakers, an IR camera for Windows Hello support and various ports, including HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4. Currently, Lenovo hopes to begin selling the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition later this month in Europe, starting at €1,399.
