Lenovo has refreshed its Yoga Pro 7 with a new AMD Strix Point processor. It packs the Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU with 32 GB of LPPDR5X RAM, 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, a 14.5-inch 2.8K display, and a decent number of ports. It will go on sale later this month.

Asus had the first round of AMD Strix Point laptop launches, and now Lenovo has joined the party. Among the newly launched laptops is the Yoga Pro 7, which packs the Ryzen AI 9 365. Compared to the Hawk Point option launched earlier this year, the new Zen 5 processor brings an NPU that can deliver up to 50 TOPS.

This makes the new Yoga Pro 7 meet one of the key requirements of the Copilot+ PC program. Lenovo says that these AI-enhanced features will allow the new laptop to accelerate creative workflow. The company has also integrated X Power Software Accelerate, which aims to enhance previews, rendering, and exports.

Then, there's X Power Hardware Boost. Lenovo says that it keeps the system cool even during loads, ensuring the performance stays stable during intensive tasks. The new Yoga Pro 7 also has the Yoga Premium Suite, which promises a comfortable typing experience with the soft-touch coated keyboard.

As for the screen, the Strix Point Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 sports a 14.9-inch PureSight Pro OLED panel, an upgrade from the IPS panel found in the Hawk Point model (available at Lenovo store). It has a 2880x1800 pixels resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB and Adobe RGB coverage, and multiple TÜV Rheinland certifications. There are a decent number of ports as well, including:

  • 1x USB4
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
  • 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
  • 1x HDMI 2.1
  • 1x 3.5 mm audio jack

For wireless connectivity, the laptop features WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Other highlights of the Strix Point Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 include 32 GB LPPDR5X RAM, 1 TB 2242 SSD, 73 WHr battery, and Radeon 880M iGPU. Pricing starts at €1,699, about $1,87, and it's expected to be available later this month.
