Xiaomi is slowly rolling out the stable HyperOS 3 update to all the compatible devices. So far, the company has pushed the Android 16 firmware to around a dozen phones and tablets, and now, the brand seems to have started testing the smartphones that are in the last batch.
To be specific, as XiaomiTime reports, the company has begun internal testing of stable HyperOS 3 firmware on the Xiaomi 12T Pro, Poco F5, and Poco F5 Pro. For reference, among the three, the former was released in October 2022, while the latter two launched in May 2023.
XiaomiTime reports that the internal test build for the Xiaomi 12T Pro is OS3.0.0.1.VLFMIXM. As for the Poco F5 Pro and F5, they vary from region to region. For example, the test build for the F5 Pro for the Turkey region is OS3.0.0.1.VMNTRXM, while it's OS3.0.0.1.VMNRUXM for the Russian variant.
It's worth noting that the Xiaomi 12T Pro was released as the Redmi K50 Ultra, while the Poco F5 Pro launched as the Redmi K60 and the F5 as the Redmi Note 12 Turbo (12/256 GB Redmi Turbo 4 Pro curr. $297.81 on TradingShenzhen). These Chinese counterparts are expected to get the stable Android 16 update before the global versions.
