It seems that Xiaomi is close to revealing the Redmi K60 series, mid-range alternatives to the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Not only has Redmi K60 packaging been spotted, but the Redmi K60E also appears to have stopped by on Geekbench. As the image above shows, the Redmi K60 is currently passing through Xiaomi’s production lines as the company gears up for release in China.
Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will announce the Redmi K60 series this month. While Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing hinted that both the Redmi K60 and Xiaomi 13 series would launch in China before the end of the year, the company has only teased the latter so far. The Redmi K60 series is thought to consist of the Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro and the Redmi K60E, with the latter seemingly the strangest of the three.
Previously, the Redmi K60E was tipped to launch with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, although Geekbench contradicts this. Instead, the device information that Geekbench has pulled suggests that the Redmi K60E utilises the Snapdragon 870, the same chipset found in the Redmi K40S. Potentially these could be faked listings, although the Xiaomi 22127RK46C model number has surfaced elsewhere in connection with the Redmi K60E.
