Xiaomi's latest budget Redmi smartphone has now reached Europe, shortly after the company posted a teaser on an Indian campaign page. While Xiaomi has officially acknowledged the Redmi 15 5G's existence, it has released the handset in Europe itself. Instead, that has fallen on certain European retailers that are already offering the Redmi 15 5G across Germany and Poland.
As we have discussed previously, the Redmi 15 5G looks a bit different from its direct predecessor (curr. $154 on Amazon). Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, the Redmi 15 5G also features a 6.9-inch IPS display that outputs at 1080p with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Nonetheless, the device retails for as little as PLN 899 (~$240) in Poland and €232 (~$268) in Germany.
Please note that this pricing only includes 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. With that being said, Xiaomi has included a 7,000 mAh battery and a 50 MP primary camera, both of which remain relatively rare for a budget smartphone at this price point. It is worth noting that the 50 MP primary camera is only joined by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera though despite appearances suggesting otherwise.
