Reviews for the Xiaomi Poco M6 Plus

The Xiaomi Poco M6 Plus has everything one could expect from a budget smartphone. It has the hardware and features needed to stand out among other midrange smartphones. The display, for example, is fantastic for viewing content since it is bright and color-accurate. It also has a high refresh rate, which should elevate the user experience. You also get a decent chipset whose app launching speed and gaming capabilities hold up against much higher-priced smartphones. The camera and battery performance are also quite good, plus it has 5G connectivity. With the competition in mind, the pricing could have been slightly better. Don’t get us wrong, the pricing is alright but there’s a clear room for improvement.

POCO M6 Plus 5G was launched recently. It is almost a clone of the Redmi 13 5G with a lower price. It offers a powerful battery, so users can use it for a long time at a single charge. Moreover, you can play games and other things without feeling warm. It also has a large display, offering only 1080p quality. So, you will not get excellent video quality. Its performance is quite average, but you can play games and watch long videos for a long time. I have a POCO M6 Plus 5G in Ice Silver, which looks very attractive. But its glass back can easily break in accidental drop. Moreover, its back is a little bit sharp, so it is also a drawback of this phone. In my POCO M6 Plus 5G review, it is an average device in this price range. Several phones are in this price range, including the OPPO K12x, Vivo T3x, Xiaomi Redmi 13 5G, Samsung Galaxy M34, Motorola Moto G64 5G, Realme Narzo 70 5G, etc. So, you can compare these phone features with the POCO M6 Plus 5G before buying it.

In conclusion, the Poco M6 Plus is a solid budget smartphone that offers good value for money. It’s not perfect—there are some compromises, like the lack of a high refresh rate and the average camera performance—but it’s hard to complain about the price. The phone delivers smooth performance, a decent display, and excellent battery life, all wrapped up in a stylish design. If you’re looking for a reliable smartphone that won’t break the bank, the Poco M6 Plus is definitely worth considering. It’s a phone that does the basics well and even throws in a few extras, making it a great option for budget-conscious buyers.

Out of all the recent budget smartphones that I have tested this year, the Poco M6 Plus is clearly one of the good ones. While it might not have a fancy design or standout features, it has everything that one comes to expect from a modern smartphone. If you are looking for a new 5G smartphone under Rs 15,000, this is definitely one of the devices worth considering this year.

The POCO M6 Plus aims to bring 5G connectivity to an affordable price point. It does that while bringing excellent battery life and a good-looking design to the table. However, it falls short in several areas. The bulky design, lacklustre display, and average camera performance make it less appealing for users looking to purchase a well-balanced budget 5G phone. In the bustling sub-₹15,000 segment, POCO has made a name for itself with budget-friendly phones like the POCO C65, which offered solid performance but lacked 5G connectivity. Now, POCO is shaking things up with the POCO M6 Plus 5G, a new entrant in the budget 5G market. This model mirrors the Redmi 13 5G in specifications and performance but with a new design twist.

For the price tag of Rs 13,499, the Poco M6 Plus is a decent performer with some drawbacks especially in Camera and Display department. However, if you want a long-lasting smartphone with a good amount of features on offer and are also on a strict budget, the Poco M6 Plus can be considered over the competition.

The POCO M6 Plus is a solid recommendation for those seeking an all-rounder smartphone with 5G support. It offers decent performance for the price, and the cameras can capture pleasing photos in ample lighting conditions. Low-light shots are not its biggest strength, but that applies to almost all smartphones in this range. However, the best performer in this segment remains the iQOO Z9x, at least based on our benchmarks, making it a strong choice for hardcore gamers. Some users might also be torn between the POCO M6 Plus and the Redmi 13 5G, as they share many similarities. In that case, I’d recommend opting for the cheaper option, as both phones offer good performance in several aspects. If you’re getting the POCO M6 Plus with some lucrative deals, it’s worth considering.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

72.75%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
