Several instances of the Mi A2 Lite running Android 10 have appeared on Geekbench. Android 10 is likely the last OS upgrade that the Android One device will receive, having been released running Android 8.1 Oreo.

Seemingly first spotted by Piunikaweb, these listings are the first time that we have seen the Mi A2 Lite running Android 10. Not all might be as it seems, though. On the one hand, all the listings that we have linked below report having been tested on an MSM8953, the motherboard which integrates the Snapdragon 625 that powers the Mi A2 Lite. There is also evidence of 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM SKUs running Android 10, too.

On the other hand, it is simple to get Geekbench to report faked information, as XDA Developers has covered several times. Spreading disinformation about a mid-range smartphone would be rather odd, in our opinion, but not out of the realms of possibility.

Either way, Xiaomi has confirmed that Android 10 is in development for the Mi A2 Lite, following some confusion to the contrary. So, these could be early signs of the device running Google's latest OS, but it does not necessarily mean that Xiaomi will issue the Android 10 update to the Mi A2 Lite anytime soon.
