Next Tuesday, Xiaomi will officially unveil their next generation smartphone flagships, the Mi 5S and the Mi 5S Plus. Both of the names have been reaffirmed multiple times by now even though there has not been any official teaser confirming the names up until now. However, Xiaomi officials have been caught posting from the devices onto Weibo a couple of times so the names are out in the wild. This weekend, the CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, was busy uploading camera samples onto his Weibo page, we added them down below for you to enjoy.
The samples certainly came out colorful for a smartphone camera, which will be a dual camera, Xiaomi confirmed yesterday. Apparently photographers traveled the world with the Mi 5S, since the pictures are from popular places all over the world, for instance the Yellowstone National Park and the Rocky Mountains in the US, Greenland and the harbour in Hong Kong. According to leaked presentation slides, both smartphones could be released with rock bottom prices and they will be fast featuring a Snapdragon 821 processor, up to 6 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage. Expect more official information to be released next Tuesday.
