Next week, Xbox Game Pass is bringing fresh content for subscribers, featuring five new titles. Alongside some intriguing indie games, there's also a remastered AAA release and a survival game that will be available on Game Pass from day one.

In the first week of June, Game Pass subscribers initially had to settle for just two new titles. However, the surprise addition of a legendary RPG’s first two parts brought the total to four. This week, Microsoft is stepping things up with five more games joining the subscription. Among them are two brand-new releases: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and The Alters.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition - June 10 (PC, Cloud and Xbox Series X/S)

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine returns as a remaster of the 2011 original, bringing enhanced visuals and updated tech to the battlefields of the Imperium. This AAA title adds another heavyweight to the Xbox Game Pass lineup. Players once again step into the armor of Captain Titus, battling orks and Chaos demons on a war-torn Forge World. The third-person action shooter is known for its brutal combat, blending intense melee and precise gunplay without relying on a cover system. Game Pass subscribers get access to the Master Crafted Edition, which includes all 13 DLCs – featuring new weapons, co-op and multiplayer modes and a variety of cosmetic skins.

Barbie Project Friendship - June 11 (PC, cloud and console)

The second week of June also brings something for younger players – or devoted Barbie fans – with Barbie Project Friendship joining Game Pass. This heartwarming adventure follows Barbie and Barbie (better known as Malibu and Brooklyn) as they return to Malibu to save the rundown Malibu Waves Community Center.

Players can explore six vibrant areas, including the animal care center, skate park and tech lab, where they complete simple quests, mini-games and puzzles. By collecting community points, they unlock outfits and decorations to brighten up the center. With local co-op and full voice acting, the game is perfect for families and younger players.

Kingdom: Two Crowns - June 11 (PC)

Kingdom: Two Crowns is a strategic side-scroller where players become a monarch on horseback, working to build and expand a kingdom across multiple islands while fending off a dark threat known as the Greed. These enemies emerge from portals at night, so players must spend their days gathering coins, recruiting followers and constructing defenses. The game blends minimalist visuals with deep strategy, offering new mounts, technologies and upgrades as you progress. It can be played solo or in co-op, both locally and online.

EA Sports FC 25 - June 12 (PC, cloud and console)

EA Sports FC 25 – formerly known as FIFA – is the popular soccer simulator from Electronic Arts. Players build their dream teams, compete online or offline and manage careers across various modes. Starting June 12, the game will be available through EA Play as part of Game Pass for PC, Ultimate and Xbox Cloud Gaming – at no additional cost.

As a bonus, subscribers will receive a Supercharge Pack through July 12, featuring 11 rare gold players rated 82 or higher, including one with an overall rating of at least 87 and a TOTS loan player rated 93 or above. This gives players a strong start in Ultimate Team mode, where you build your dream squad from player cards and compete in various challenges.

The Alters - June 13 (PC, Cloud and Xbox Series X/S)

The Alters is an upcoming sci-fi survival game from 11 bit studios, known for This War of Mine and Frostpunk. Launching directly into Game Pass, the game follows Jan Dolski, a technician stranded on a hostile planet after a crash. To survive, he harnesses a mysterious substance called Rapidium to create alternate versions of himself – known as "Alters" – each reflecting different life paths and equipped with unique skills and personalities.

Staying true to its survival roots, The Alters features base building, resource management and morally complex choices. Gameplay shifts between two perspectives: Jan Dolski is controlled in third-person, while base management unfolds in a 2.5D side view, reminiscent of This War of Mine or Fallout Shelter. The Alters assist in running the mobile base, but their presence also introduces emotional dilemmas. Your decisions shape the story’s direction and impact relationships between the different versions of Jan.
