Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 tablet with paper-like OLED display and Wacom Pro Pen 3 for artists

Wacom has unveiled the MovinkPad Pro 14, a portable all-in-one Android drawing tablet for artists powered by a fast Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and microSD card expandability.
The Android 15 tablet features a 2,800 x 1,800 pixel OLED display capable of 10-finger multi-touch input. The 120 Hz screen covers 100% of the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness (900 cd/m2 peak). For eye comfort, it includes anti-glare and anti-fingerprint surface coatings. The textured display surface provides artists with a paper-like drawing experience, according to Wacom.
The MovinkPad comes with a Wacom Pro Pen 3 with 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity, 5,080 lines-per-inch resolution, and a 60-degree pen tilt range. It uses the company's electromagnetic resonance technology, eliminating the need for charging or batteries. A variety of optional nibs, which alter the feel of the pen on the screen, and other Wacom-compatible pens are available for purchase. The tablet can also be connected to a PC or Mac and used as an external display with pen drawing capabilities.
The Wacom UX interface provides quick access to Wacom Canvas, a virtual sketchbook, to help artists capture spur-of-the-moment creative ideas. A one-year license for Clip Studio Paint Debut is also included. Artists can access to all their art through Wacom Shelf, which displays artwork stored on the device in bmp, clip, heic, jpeg, png, tiff, and webp formats.
The Wacom tablet measures 323.3 x 210 x 5.9 mm (12.7 x 8.3 x 0.23 in.) and weighs 699 g (1.6 lbs.). It comes with dual microphones, stereo speakers, GPS, and an ambient light sensor and has Bluetooth 5.4 and 802.11ax Wi-Fi wireless connectivity. The portable device is powered by a 10,000 mAh battery that can be recharged using a USB-C power source.
The $899.95 MovinkPad (DTHA140L0Z) will be released in Fall 2025 through Wacom and the Wacom store on Amazon. Readers who can't wait might consider the smaller MovinkPad 11 available on Amazon today. Artists looking for a tablet that can run all their professional software such as the full version of Adobe Photoshop might consider using a PC tablet (like this model on Amazon).
