Vivo X70 Pro Plus leaks in high quality renders and on the Google Play Console
OnLeaks has leaked the Vivo X70 Pro Plus, just a day after publishing renders for another Vivo X70 device, the X70 Pro. While the pair share Zeiss branding and have four rear-facing cameras, the difference in size between lenses suggests that the X70 Pro Plus will have significantly better cameras than the X70 Pro.
Additionally, the X70 Pro Plus is a touch larger than the X70 Pro at 164.8 x 75.5 x 9 mm, seemingly on account of its 6.7-inch display. By contrast, OnLeaks alleges that the X70 Pro has a 6.5-inch display within a 160.4 x 75.5 x 7.7 mm chassis. Unsurprisingly, the X70 Pro Plus also has a curved display, a centred hole punch and just a USB Type-C port for I/O.
Incidentally, the X70 Pro Plus has also appeared on the Google Play Console. As the listing below shows, the device has a Snapdragon 888 SoC, along with a 1080p display and 8 GB of RAM. Vivo has also submitted the X70 Pro Plus running Android 11, even though Android 12 is in the final stages of development.
Vivo has not started teasing the X70 series yet, so we may be a few weeks away from its arrival. However, the X70 Pro Plus' appearance on the Google Play Console suggests that Vivo is close to announcing it, the X70 and the X70 Pro.
