The two slim 13.3-inch models will each carry a magnesium chassis and a sixth generation Intel Core i5 processor.

Toshiba is refreshing its 13.3-inch Satellite series with the Satellite Z30-C-10H and Z30-C-10J SKUs. The two models are now available in parts of Europe for roughly 1250 Euros (Z30-C-10H) and 1100 Euros (Z30-C-10J).

The updated SKUs both include a step up to Skylake in the form of a Core i5-6200U ULV processor with integrated HD Graphics 520 (GT2) and a primary 256 GB SSD. The Z30-C-10J, however, will only be equipped with an HD display (1366 x 768) compared to the FHD 1080p display on the Z30-C-10H.

While Toshiba is not explicitly listing the battery capacity, the manufacturer is promising runtimes of up to 14 hours. Other features include DTS sound, 3x USB 3.0 (1x Sleep-and-Charge), SD reader, VGA, HDMI, WiFi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 4.0+LE with Windows 10 Home.

The manufacturer will be running a promotion until March 31, 2016 to extend the usual 12-month warranty to 36 months with theft, accidental damage, and malware protection without additional costs to the owner. Users can check out the official Toshiba page promo here.

In response to falling notebook sales, Toshiba recently announced that it will downscale its consumer notebook lineup to focus on the more promising business market. For example, its Tecra C40, A50, and Portege A30 series all recently received Skylake updates in addition to the two aforementioned Satellite SKUs.
