Tiny mini SSD enclosure from Satechi with up to 2 TB and 10 Gbit/s is suitable for laptops, iPhone, iPad and more
In addition to the Mobile XR Hub for expanding iPhones by three ports, Satechi has launched another tiny but practical product onto the market. The Satechi M.2 NVMe Mini SSD enclosure can now be ordered from Amazon for an RRP of $59.99.
As the name suggests, the new device is a tiny SSD enclosure. It is suitable for an NVMe 2230 SSD, which is not included in the scope of delivery. Models with up to 2 TB of storage space are supported, such as the WD_BLACK SN770M 2 TB M.2 2230 NVMe SSD ($179 at Amazon). The SSD can be easily inserted into the 35 g lightweight housing, which is made of aluminum and tempered glass.
Satechi's mini NVMe enclosure is equipped with Gen 2 USB-C technology and supports data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps. Equipped with a USB-C connector, the SSD enclosure is compatible with all kinds of devices and can expand iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows devices by up to 2 TB of storage space or be used to store and back up files. A quiet mini fan and ventilation slots are also installed for cooling.
A 20 cm USB-C to USB-C lanyard cable is attached to the Satechi Mini NVMe case, which can not only be used for transferring data, but is also suitable for attaching the storage device to key rings and the like.
