The SSA464 belongs to Seiko’s Presage Style ’60s lineup. Watches from this range are all about classic design cues. This particular model has a gorgeous open-aperture dial, which reveals part of the movement at 9 o’clock, paired with a 24-hour subdial at 6. The champagne-gold dial uses a vertical texture pattern, which matches the gold-tone hands and applied indices quite nicely. All this gives the watch a dressy look without going full mirror polish.
Inside is Seiko’s caliber 4R39, an automatic movement that beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a 41-hour power reserve. It supports both hacking and hand-winding, which is expected at this price point but still worth a mention. The case is stainless-steel with gold accents, and the watch is rated for 50 meters of water resistance. You can use it as a daily-wear watch, but not swimming or diving.
