Google debuted the Pixel Stand (2nd gen) with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which it launched last month. For some reason, the company did not confirm when it would start selling the new Pixel stand, despite its inclusion in marketing assets. The Pixel Stand (2nd gen) is now pre-orderable at least, but it is not shipping for a while.
Specifically, the Pixel Stand (2nd gen) costs US$79, £69 or €79, depending on where you live. Google hopes to start shipping the new stand in mid-December, presumably in time for Christmas. It is unclear how many markets will receive the Pixel Stand (2nd gen) though, given the Pixel 6 series' limited availability.
Google includes a 1.5 metre-long cable in the box, for reference. Additionally, there is a small fan within it to keep its components cool when recharging at high wattages. The stand is only available in white.
While the Pixel Stand (2nd gen) is on the pricey side, Google bundles a 30 W USB Type-C charger in the box that it also sells separately. The Pixel Stand (2nd gen) will recharge the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro at up to 23 W or 15 W for Qi-certified smartphones.
