Xiaomi left it late with updating the Mi A2 to the January 2021 security patch, but we can have no such complaints this month. V11.0.21.0.QDIMIXM is rolling out now, just a few days after Google updated its Pixel smartphones to its latest security patch. The February 2021 security patch addresses 19 serious or critical CVEs for the Mi A2.

The Mi A2 has received another update, hot on the heels of V11.0.20.0.QDIMIXM. While Xiaomi took its time in upgrading the device to Google's January 2021 security patch, the company has redeemed itself this month. V11.0.21.0.QDIMIXM, which is rolling out to devices now, contains the February 2021 security patch. You can read what vulnerabilities the February 2021 address on the latest Android Security Bulletin.

The February 2021 patch for the Mi A2 arrives less than a week after Google Pixel devices, typically the first smartphones to be brought onto a new security patch, received theirs. In short, the February 2021 patch addresses 19 CVEs that Google considers critical or high severity.

Your device should download V11.0.21.0.QDIMIXM automatically. If that is not the case, then you can download the OTA file from the link below. Alternatively, you can download the full recovery ROM, should you need to start afresh with your Mi A2.
