The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite picks up a new update
The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is into its final year of software updates, having received its second OS upgrade earlier this year. The Mi A2 Lite started life on the Android 8.1 Oreo version of Android One, although its progress from Android 9.0 Pie to Android 10 was plagued with issues.
With those issues out of the way, Xiaomi has moved onto issuing another year's worth of security updates for the device. Accordingly, the Mi A2 Lite has now received the November security patch, just days before Google releases the December one.
Xiaomi is distributing V11.0.14.0.QDLMIXM as an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade. However, the fastboot and recovery ROMs are also available, should you wish to start afresh. According to the changelog for V11.0.14.0.QDLMIXM, then it also should optimise system performance while simultaneously improving system stability.
