Ulefone is set to announce the launch of its new Power 3 smartphone in the coming weeks, with the device touted to feature an impressive 6100 mAh battery.
The upcoming device will be released in December, but there's surprisingly not much information available on it at the moment, so it looks like Ulefone is bent on keeping a tight wrap on the phone's features. What is confirmed, however, is that it will carry the aforementioned battery capacity, will sport an 18:9 display ratio, and will run on Android 8.1 out of the box. The last of those is the most impressive, as the only devices that have been launched on Oreo till date are the Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, and the Huawei Mate 10 phones—all of which are flagships from much bigger OEMs. Even the OnePlus 5T that was launched a few days ago will run on Android Nougat.
Ulefone Power series has always featured devices with large batteries, with the predecessor to the Power 3, the Power 2, carrying a similarly-sized 6050 mAh, and the upcoming Power Max expected to ship with a mind-boggling 13000 mAh unit.
