The monitor attaches directly to the console and it even includes a handy remote control and two HDMI ports for added versatility. At US$360, however, it's still a bit pricey.

If you can't live without your XBox Series S, then the 15.6-inch Depgi portable monitor might just be for you. Amazon is currently discounting $40 USD off the initial price for a total of $360. It's still expensive for sure, but the monitor carries almost all the features we've come to expect from a regular gaming monitor and then some.

What makes the Depgi special is that it attaches directly to the XBox Series S and it includes two HDMI ports so you can still connect other sources like laptops, PCs, and other consoles. It's not a budget display either as it supports a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 (2K), FreeSync, 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR, 300-nit maximum brightness, and built-in speakers. The manufacturer doesn't list black-white response times, however, but they're probably decent enough for gaming purposes.

There are two main drawbacks to keep in mind. Firstly, the monitor requires its own power adapter that's separate from the console itself. And secondly, the bulkiness and high price may turn many users away as the $300 to $400 price range is home to some very nice 4K desktop monitors. This is definitely a niche product that only die-hard XBox gamers will find attractive.
