The Asus ROG Phone 2 may be the most impressive mass-production smartphone in the world, hardware-wise, and it has finally made its way to the US, months after it was launched. Oh, and it will set buyers back a whopping US$900.

Last week, we revealed that the Asus ROG Phone 2 had finally been listed on the Asus US page. At the time we weren't sure when the device would go on sale; thankfully, we didn't have to wait for long, as the gaming phone is now officially on sale in the US.

Potential buyers have to visit the Asus store for their purchase. The Asus ROG Phone 2 is listed with an MSRP of US$899.99 (ASUS ROG Phone 2018 model on sale now at Amazon). That's a heavy price tag, we have to admit but it's, perhaps, one one of the few devices on the market actually worthy of such a price tag.

The ROG Phone 2 ships with a Snapdragon 855+, 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, a FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display, a 48 MP + 13 MP dual rear camera setup, a 13 MP selfie shooter, and a hefty 6000 mAh battery. The ROG Phone 2 also has decent LTE support in the US, although Verizon users will have to look elsewhere.
