Caviar has developed another bizarre limited edition iPhone. This time, it is a version of the iPhone 12 Pro without any cameras. The Russian company has called its effort the iPhone 12 Pro Stealth, likely because it believes that the absence of cameras makes it more stealthy.
The iPhone 12 Pro Stealth has a custom titanium case, which comes in either black guilloche or gold PVD. Caviar is selling 99 units of each model, which start at US$4,990 and US$5,520 respectively. Spending this much only gets you the 128 GB model of the iPhone 12 Pro, though. Prices rise to US$6,220 for the 512 GB version of the Stealth Gold, which is actually relatively cheap for a Caviar-branded iPhone.
According to Caviar, it has merely disabled the front-facing camera, rather than removing it as it has with the rear-facing sensors. Presumably, disabling the front-facing camera will also break Face ID and will leave the Stealth without any form of biometric authentication.
