The rise of fitness technology is something that Adidas has been aligned with as soon as it became apparent that they make perfect companions. Whether it is smartwatches that keep track of physical activity or music to help keep you motivated, Adidas has been keen to integrate technology into its brand DNA. Its latest headphones build on that philosophy by combining good quality sound with a sturdiness that will last work out after work out.
The new Adidas RPD-01 headphones come with ergonomic foam eartips and as well as optional rubber earwings to ensure that they don’t fall out in the middle of a session. The inclusion of a neckband further helps to ensure stability. Adidas has also ensured the RPD-01s are IPX4 rated for water resistance meaning they will withstand both sweat and splashes.
Adidas has also built in a three-button remote control to allow quick replay or track skipping while the 12 hours of battery life means you won’t have to recharge them after every work out. The RPD-01 headphones also work with the Adidas Headphones app, free on the Google Play and App Stores. They come in three colors, night gray, light gray and green tint and cost US$99.
