Tesla is taking up to $6,000 off the price of the Cybertruck Foundation Series edition, and up to $5,000 off the Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck pricing.
The discount is valid for inventory models, and the Cybertruck there starts from $70,490 for a brand new AWD model with a $4,000 price adjustment and Tesla's infamous gas savings. If those are removed, however, the starting price of the inventory Cybertruck list is not as enticing at $75,990.
The decked-out Foundation Series Cybertruck, however, starts from $94,990 without the "gas savings", which is a $5,000 discount, and comes with free FSD and premium wheels or accessories. That is arguably a better deal, as it still comes with a free wrap of the buyer's choice as long as they order by March 31 in the form of a voucher received within two weeks of delivery.
The wrapping is done by XPEL and has to be coordinated with one of their authorized service center, subject to color options availability. Tesla lowered the price of Cybertruck wraps to $4,500 in December, so buyers of that particular combo could save close to ten grand is they buy off inventory.
Tesla offers the largest Cybertruck discount of $6,000 for the Foundation Series tri-motor Cyberbeast, which starts from $113,990.
Tesla is doing the inventory Cybertruck price drops, as these are all 2024 models that wouldn't qualify for the tax credit that the IRS only approved the 2025 model year for. Once it clears its lots from said units, it will likely focus on lowering the Cybertruck price, whether directly through cost savings, or indirectly via incentives and promos.
Those efforts are bound to culminate in the cheapest RWD Cybertruck that, according to the government's EV tax credit list, is going to be released later this year and be eligible for the federal subsidy if it still exists by then.
