Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy has officially launched on Steam after exiting early access. You can now try out its full story, classless RPG systems, and dual combat modes. The 1.0 release marks AtomTeam’s complete vision for the fantasy RPG.
Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy has officially exited early access and is now available in full on Steam as of December 16, 2025. This release is the first time the game is being presented as a complete product after nearly a year in early access following its initial December 11, 2024 availability.
Developed and published by AtomTeam, Swordhaven marries classic RPG design with modern quality-of-life features, and the 1.0 launch delivers on many of the promises that originally shaped its early access run. Players who supported the game earlier can continue with their progress, and the developers have clarified that saves from early access can be carried over or replaced, though compatibility can sometimes affect certain scripts.
The game is set in the fantasy land of Nova Drakonia, and it puts you in the shoes of a lone adventurer who becomes entangled in a world-spanning conspiracy after being entrusted with a mysterious artifact. The story unfolds across multiple regions, with a mix of handcrafted quests and exploration that draws a lot of inspiration from classics like Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale.
One of Swordhaven’s major features is its flexible combat system. You can choose to tackle battles in traditional turn-based mode, where you pace your decisions as a strategist, or switch to real-time with pause (RTwP) for a more fluid experience. The game also uses a classless character progression system, which lets players mix and match stat builds that influence how NPCs react, how quests can be approached, and how combat plays out.

The final release includes the full plot and world as designed by AtomTeam, along with dozens of hours of main story and side content. Players have also created mods through the Steam Workshop. User reviews are still "Very positive", with a lot of praise for its depth of writing, tactical combat options, and exploration.
Swordhaven has launched for $24.99 on Steam, and a 10% discount is available at launch - bringing the price down to $22.49. It supports multiple languages, Steam Achievements, cloud saves, and has solid controller support.
