Steam has seen many new additions throughout the past few weeks. As far as free games go, there are plenty of entries from early June 2026. Of course, not all of them appear to be worth playing, as many of them don't have decent player ratings.
A couple of them, on the other hand, have already garnered some attention, and they have good overall player ratings. Some of these free games are as follows:
- 67 Minutes in Heaven - a choice-based free game with PSX-styled visuals and multiple endings. It was released on June 7, and currently, it boasts an 87% positive rating with over 55 reviews.
- Ship It - released on June 5, this is a sorting game with interesting time-management challenges. This freebie holds a 70% positive rating with 10 player reviews.
- Suck It Up! - an action-adventure free game that's set in an industrial city. It was released on June 1, 2026, and the freebie currently holds a 100% positive rating that's based on 10 reviews.
- Eterspire - launched on Steam on June 5, this is a cozy old-school MMORPG where skill and dedication matter for progression. It sports a 75% positive rating with over 1,200 player reviews.
- The Wheelchair Man - a horror game that puts players against hidden traps and a scary figure in an abandoned apartment complex. It currently holds a 94% positive rating with over 80 reviews.
- GEODE - released on June 1, this is a top-down game that blends tower defense and survival mechanics. This freebie has a 100% positive rating with over 20 player reviews.
- Gunk - a rogue-lite survival game with an interesting progression scale. It was released on June 3, and so far, it has gathered 44 reviews, of which 95% are positive.
- Hearty Haven - released on June 1, this free game has hidden puzzles and physics-based gameplay. It holds a 93% positive rating, which is based on 15 reviews.
