Steam Deck LCD battery jumps to $180 on iFixit, marking a 125% increase

Last month, the Steam Deck LCD battery came back in stock on iFixit after reports suggested that Valve might be discontinuing replacement parts for the original model. While it returned with a higher $129.99 price tag, it seems that the replacement battery now costs even more than before.
Before it went out of stock, the Steam Deck LCD battery was selling for $79.99 on iFixit. When it returned, its price had already increased by $50 to $129.99. Now, the replacement battery has become even more expensive, as iFixit has increased its price to $179.99. This is $50 more than the recent price and a massive 125% increase over its original $79.99 price.
Just like the previous price hike, this increase only applies to the Steam Deck LCD battery. The replacement battery for the Steam Deck OLED is still available for $79.99, so owners of the other model aren't facing the same increase.
At the moment, iFixit has not explained the reason behind the sudden price hike. However, many users will be disappointed with such a significant increase, especially those who have been considering replacing the battery in their older Steam Deck.
