GPD confirms global pricing for its powerful AMD Strix Halo-equipped Win Max 3

GPD has been teasing the Win Max 3 for quite a while now, and just a while back, a rumor hinted that the pricing of this AMD Strix Halo gaming handheld will be quite competitive. Now, the official price details for the device are here.
As previously revealed on the official website, the Win Max 3 will be available with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and 388. Among the two, the base configuration will feature the latter, and it will have 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 1TB SSD. This starting configuration is now confirmed to cost $1,750.
The Ryzen AI Max+ 388 variant will also be available with 64GB of RAM, and this configuration will feature a 2TB SSD. It's set to go for $2,246, and the top-of-the-line option will pack the AI Max+ 395, which will be paired with 128GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. This top-end option will go for $3,499.
It's worth noting that these are likely early-bird prices, and the company has reiterated that the Win Max 3 will be available through Indiegogo on September 02, 2026. Another thing to note is that the pre-sale orders are set to come with the fan module, but GPD didn't share how much the attachment will cost on its own. The pricing details of the other modules have not been confirmed either.
For those interested, the pricing details of the GPD Win Max 3 have been confirmed for the Chinese market as well. On that announcement, the company shared that a separate battery module purchase will cost users CNY 599 in retail, which is around $89 (25K Baseus 140W power bank curr. $55.98 on Amazon).
