After discounting the Starlink Standard Kit by $100, which made it cheaper than the Starlink Mini, SpaceX is now shaving another $200 off the Standard Kit price.

Instead of launching the new and compact Starlink Mini Kit at half the Standard Kit price, as Elon Musk suggested SpaceX will do, it has now cut the Standard Kit pricing to $299.

The offer will run until October 5th, and it now makes the Mini Kit two times pricier than the standard Starlink dish.

What the deal essentially does is expand the $200 regional credit offer that was until now available only for residents of 28 states, and making it valid for all subscribers nationwide.

The Starlink price cut comes hot on the heels of the $100 reduction that has been available for a while, including at all retailers. The Starlink Standard Kit is now $299.99 at Best Buy, too, for example, as well as at Walmart, Home Depot, Costco, or Target.

Unfortunately, SpaceX is only cutting the price of the dish and router paraphernalia, rather than the $120 monthly subscription rate that is the more significant outlay.

SpaceX has still saved a perk for the residents of said 28 states to offset the monthly subscription price, though. Users in said states, or the so-called "areas where Starlink has abundant network availability" will receive a one-time $100 service credit to apply towards their subsequent monthly bills as an added incentive.
