Starlink V4 kits now priced 40% cheaper in certain places including Home Depot stock
SpaceX has decided to make the entry price into its Starlink satellite Internet service lower for some, discounting the new V4 antenna dish down to $349.
Those living in Virginia, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and other states anointed by SpaceX's Starlink Standard Kit promotion, can expect messages that read "In your area, the Starlink kit price has been reduced to $349 (was $599)."
Not only that, but at their local Home Depot stores, SpaceX is reportedly offering the same $250 off promotion, if the Starlink dish is in stock there.
SpaceX started selling Starlink kits at Best Buy, Costco, Home Depot, and even Target in order to reach a wider mass of potential customers, so its online promotions often transfer to the brick-and-mortar stores as well.
The Starlink dish shipping cost was also reduced in those select areas, from $60 to $20, so the shipping and fees only bump the total Starlink kit price to about $400.
The OP argues that anyone can take advantage of the big Starlink kit price discount by simply inputting one of the promo state addresses as a service location, then change it after the dish arrives to the actual shipping address, but SpaceX may already be aware of this trick.
The new V4 Starlink satellite Internet dish that SpaceX now offers is slightly larger, more durable, and more powerful as an antenna, while it comes with a Wi-fi 6 router in the kit, and a variety of mounting options apart from the simple kickstand on the back.
