Sony's free PlayStation Plus games for May 2022 have been leaked
Although the launch of the overhauled PlayStation Plus program is right around the corner, the Japanese gaming behemoth Sony apparently plans to offer its paying subscribers three more free games in May 2022. Once again, this leak comes from the French website Dealabs, which has correctly predicted the lineup of free PS Plus games numerous times.
First of all, active subscribers will purportedly be able to enjoy the self-explanatory soccer game FIFA 22, whose PlayStation 4 and PS5 versions are both part of Sony's free PS Plus games for May 2022. As one of the most successful video games in the world, soccer fans will surely enjoy this pick, even though the included microtransactions have been heavily criticized by some players.

The free PS games for May 2022 will allegedly also include the action-roleplaying game Tribes of Midgard, which draws upon Nordic mythology and is primarily designed to be played in co-op mode with up to nine friends. On Metacritic, the PS5 version of the RPG has received a solid metascore of 71 points.
Last but not least, PlayStation Plus customers will apparently be able to play the isometric action game Curse of the Dead Gods for free. This game features rogue-like gameplay and its challenging combat system requires a certain amount of patience. All three games will be available to download on March 3, which means that subscribers still have about a week to grab the currently free PS Plus games.
