Leak reveals Sony's PS Plus games for June 2022 ↺
The launch of Sony's new PlayStation Plus service, which will compete against Microsoft’s successful Xbox Game Pass, is just around the corner in Europe and North America. However, the Japanese gaming behemoth is still expected to distribute three free games as part of the regular PS Plus program which will soon be called “PlayStation Plus Essential”. These free PS Plus games for June 2022 could in fact include one well-known and previously exclusive masterpiece developed by Sony's highly respected Santa Monica Studio.
According to a leak that originated from a Spanish website, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to play the epic God of War for free in June 2022. The game received much praise from critics when it was first released for PlayStation 4 back in 2018, and with a metascore of 94, the narrative-heavy title is regularly listed as one of the very best games of the last console generation. Since the highly anticipated sequel "God of War Ragnarok" is scheduled to be released later this year, this is the perfect opportunity for PS Plus subscribers to pick up the previous installment in the iconic God of War series.
The upcoming PlayStation Plus lineup supposedly also includes Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, which should undoubtedly be worth a look for Naruto fans in particular. Last but not least, Sony has apparently decided to include the very colorful Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl in its PS Plus games for June 2022, which means that console gamers will be able to enjoy three action-packed titles for free next month. These new PS Plus games will be available for download from June 7 to July 5, but for the time being, subscribers can still add the current PlayStation Plus games to their library, which for example include the popular FIFA 22.
