Priced at Rs. 49,990, the Sony Vaio T SVT11113FGS is one of the most affordable Ultrabooks in the market. It’s stylish, super compact, feature loaded, well-built, and the battery life is excellent. It’s great bang for the buck, hands down! Another variant of the Vaio T is SVT13113ENS that sports a 13.3-inch display, and has an Intel Core i3-2367M processor. The rest of the hardware is the same, but it comes with Windows 7 Home Basic instead of Home Premium. It’s priced at Rs. 45,990 due to the less powerful processor. That gives you a choice between the smaller and more powerful model, and the larger but less powerful one.

Elegant and high-end despite an entry-level price? Has Sony succeeded in creating a better compromise than the competition with its low-priced ultrabook? Will the screen and keyboard ergonomics make work both pleasant and efficient?

Sony: Sony Corporation is a multinational conglomerate corporation headquartered in Japan. Sony is one of the leading manufacturers of electronics, video, communications, video game consoles, and information technology products for the consumer and professional markets. Its name is derived from sonus, the Latin word for sound. The company was founded 1946 with another name and renamed in 1958. Sony Corporation is the electronics business unit and the parent company of the Sony Group, which is engaged in business through its five operating segments—electronics, games, entertainment (motion pictures and music), financial services and other. Sony is a notebook manufacturer of medium size according international market shares.
From 2014, Sony has reduced the production of Vaio laptops and finally discontinued them. Sony is still present in the smartphone and tablet market, yet not among the Top 5 manufacturers.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
Intel HD Graphics 4000: Processor graphics card in the high end Ivy Bridge models. Offers a different clock speed in the different CPU models (ULV to desktop quad core) and therefore a different performance.
Intel HD Graphics 4200: Processor graphics card in some of the ULV Haswell CPUs with 20 EUs (GT2).
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
Intel HD Graphics 3000: Integrated graphics card in the Intel Sandy Bridge processors (Core ix-2xxx). The HD 3000 is the faster (internally GT2 called) version with 12 Execution Units (EUs).
Intel HD Graphics (Ivy Bridge): In the mobile Ivy Bridge Celeron and Pentium CPUs integrated processor graphics card. The HD Graphics is the slower, GT1 called, part with less execution units (EUs) and only one texture sampler - compared to the GT2 HD Graphics 4000.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
3517U: Fast Ivy-Bridge-based ULV-CPU in Q2 2012. Offers a core clock of 1.9 - 3.0 GHz and an HD 4000 GPU (350 - 1150 MHz). The TDP is rated at 17 W.
Intel Core i3:
2367M: Power efficient ULV processor clocked at 1.4 GHz without Turbo boost. Offers an integrated HD 3000 clocked at slow 350 / 1000 MHz and a DDR3-1333 memory controller.
Intel Core i5:
3317U: Ivy-Bridge-based ULV-CPU in Q2 2012. Offers a core clock of 1.7 - 2.6 GHz and an HD 4000 GPU (350 - 1050 MHz). The TDP is rated at 17 W.
4210Y:
Haswell-based ULV dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with Turbo Boost support up to 1.9 GHz. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 4200 and a dual-channel DDR3 memory controller.
Intel Pentium:
3560Y:
Entry-level ULV dual-core processor with Intel HD integrated graphics. Certain Haswell features like Turbo Boost and AES have been disabled.

0.75 kg:
This weight is typical for small tablets.
1.42 kg:
In former time,s this weight was typical for big tablets, small subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles with a 10-11 inch display-diagonal. Nowadays, often 15 inch laptops weigh as much.
80.8%: This rating should be considered to be average. This is because the proportion of notebooks which have a higher rating is approximately equal to the proportion which have a lower rating.
