With AI-driven NPCs that remember your choices and a fair ranking system that rewards real skill, Sword of Justice has already captivated over 40 million players in China. Now this popular MMO is heading our way, with the beta launching at the end of September.

Sword of Justice is an MMO that seems to get many things right and has already attracted over 40 million players in China. A standout feature is its advanced technology, most notably the AI-driven NPC system. Characters remember past interactions and respond dynamically to player choices, leading to more natural conversations and long-term consequences that evolve with your decisions – a rarity in the MMO genre. Developed and published by NetEase Games, the title also supports ray tracing on both PC and mobile, with cross-play and fully synchronized save data.

Players can look forward to an open fantasy world inspired by Eastern aesthetics. Alongside battles, dungeons and more than 100 hours of story content, Sword of Justice also features peaceful activities such as farming, fishing and calligraphy. Its flexible combat system removes fixed classes, offering hundreds of skill combinations to suit different playstyles. Fairness is a core pillar of the game: progress depends entirely on skill rather than money or grinding. Rankings are reset regularly, and stat caps ensure no player can gain an overwhelming advantage over time.

Coming soon to the West

While Sword of Justice has already become a major hit in China, NetEase is now preparing to bring the game to Western markets. The closed beta will run from September 26 to October 9, 2025, on PC, iOS and Android, and will be available in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. Whether the game will also launch in Europe remains unclear. Interested players can still register until September 16. According to the publisher, more than 2 million players have already signed up. For now, the official website only provides a handful of images and videos, while the Steam page remains region-locked in most areas. Additional details can be found on the Google Play Store.
