Sharkoon launches the SKILLER SGD10 and SGD20 gaming desks with extensive cable management
Sharkoon has just released two gaming desks, namely the SKILLER SGD10 and SKILLER SGD20. Both have large tabletops that come fully covered with a mouse mat and can accommodate at least two monitors and a full-size desktop PC alongside the needed peripherals. A headset holder, three-stage adjustable height, and extensive cable management capabilities are also present.
Both desks have a load limit of 100 kg (220 pounds). The tabletop dimensions are these:
- SKILLER SGD10: 160 X 80 cm (5.25 X 2.62 ft)
- SKILLER SGD20: 180 X 85 cm (5.91 X 2.79 ft)
The cable management capabilities are provided via two cable outlets that are located near the rear edge of the tabletop. Thanks to them, the cables can be routed into a cable channel at the back of the desk. In addition to the two cable outlets, the Sharkoon SGD10 and SGD20 also feature an opening in the middle of the tabletop. Last, but not the least, we should highlight the headset holder which is also a part of the retail package. This accessory can be attached to the left or right of the user, at the front of the desk.
The manufacturer's suggested prices are 279 Euros for the SKILLER SGD10, and 299 Euros for the SGD20 (about US$284 and US$305 at the time of writing).
Pohlheim, 16 August 2022 – Sharkoon Technologies is an international supplier of high-performance, high-quality PC components and peripherals. Sharkoon has now widened its comprehensive range of gaming equipment to include two new desks. Both models, the SKILLER SGD10 and the SKILLER SGD20, come with a tabletop-sized mouse mat and provide enough space for all the monitors and peripherals, as well as the PC. The gaming desks also offer an extensive cable management and a headset holder.
With a tabletop that is 160 centimeters long and 80 centimeters wide, the SKILLER SGD10 should offer enough space for the PC, the monitors, all the peripherals, plus several office utensils. If anyone needs even more space, they can turn to the SKILLER SGD20, whose tabletop is somewhat larger with a length of 180 centimeters and a width of 85 centimeters. Thanks to a robust steel frame construction, both models have a load capacity of up to 100 kilograms, and, in addition, the height of the desks can be adjusted in three stages via the extra-large legs. To ensure that every move can be performed unhindered during the game, the manufacturer has equipped both models with a mouse mat that covers the entire top of the desk.
Neat and Tidy
For extensive cable management, both gaming tables have two cable outlets near the rear edge of the tabletop. Through these, cables can be routed, out of sight, into a cable channel at the back of the desk. As well as these two cable outlets, the SKILLER SGD20 has another opening in the middle of the tabletop. With this inconspicuous, additional outlet, the peripherals’ cabling should be more easily tamed on the SGD20’s larger surface. Another cable channel can be attached magnetically onto either the right or the left leg of both models. As an extra feature, the desks also come with a headset holder that can be attached at the front of the desk, as desired, either to the left or to the right of the user.
Availability and Price
The SKILLER SGD10 is now available at the manufacturer's suggested price of 279 euros. The SKILLER SGD20 is also now available and at the manufacturer's suggested price of 299 euros.
