MagyarCES 2024 | Sennheiser introduces new Momentum True Wireless 4 ANC earphones with Auracast and other innovations
After the wireless Over-Ear Momentum 4 (approx. 211 euros on Amazon) unveiled in the summer, Sennheiser presents its new Momentum True Wireless 4 in-ears at CES 2024. According to the manufacturer, the new generation comes with a whole range of improvements and promises outstanding sound as Sennheiser's most powerful earphones to date.
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 are based on the Qualcomm S5 Sound Gen 2 platform and Snapdragon Sound technology for lossless aptX sound quality and low latency. In addition to Bluetooth 5.4, they are equipped with the new Auracast and also come with a revised antenna design for even better signal continuity.
According to Sennheiser, further improvements include improved adaptive ANC, enhanced tuning, and an optimized battery system. The fourth generation of Momentum True Wireless Earbuds offers 7.5 hours of playtime, which can be significantly extended with the Qi charging case and fast charging via USB-C.
The new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 will go on sale on February 15 for a recommended retail price of 299.99 euros. They are available in three colors: black, silver, and graphite.
Sennheiser Accentum Plus
Sennheiser released the Accentum headphones last fall (approx. 165 euros on Amazon), as a less expensive alternative to their top model, the Momentum 4. Among other things, it impresses with adaptive ANC, support for aptX Adaptive and Bluetooth 5.2 Multipoint as well as up to 50 hours of playtime.
With the Accentum Plus, Sennheiser is now bringing an extended version to CES 2024 in Las Vegas. It offers the same equipment but a few more features. The new Plus model can not only be connected wirelessly but also with an audio cable, which is practical for in-flight entertainment programs, for example. A travel bag will also be included when the Sennheiser Accentum Plus goes on sale on February 20 for 229.99 euros RRP.
Sennheiser Momentum Sport
The third new addition to the range is the Sennheiser Momentum Sport. These new earbuds not only offer high-quality Sennheiser sound but also provide real-time biometric feedback. They are equipped with a PPG sensor and can, therefore, measure heart rate and body temperature in order to share the respective data with sports devices and apps such as Apple Watch/Health, Garmin Connect, Strava, Peloton, and others. According to the manufacturer, this gives users full access to the special biosensor functions and data analyses of the sports watch for the first time in a product that is not made by Polar.
The new Sennheiser Momentum Sport also have many other features, including adaptive noise cancellation and an adjustable transparency mode, an anti-wind mode, and an improved acoustic system with a redesigned transducer. The IP55 sweat- and water-resistant earbuds come in a shock-resistant housing and with a Qi-enabled transport and charging box. This extends the playing time from 6 hours to up to 24 hours.
According to the manufacturer, the new Sennheiser Momentum Sport will go on sale on April 9 for an RRP of 329.99 euros in three color variants: Polar Black, Burned Olive, and Metallic Graphite.
