Seinxon: New Apple AirTag alternative in credit card form is rechargeable, has NFC and can be loud
Apple's AirTags and the corresponding Apple Find My network offer a relatively simple and cost-effective way to protect items from theft or loss, but the technology naturally also has limitations and requires a corresponding tracking device nearby, as both GPS and mobile connections to the relevant trackers are not available. Seinxon is now offering a new and particularly compact alternative to the AirTags.
Specifically, it is a tracker in the form of a credit card, which is only 1.6 millimeters thick. This makes it ideal for wallet security, while also being easy to hide. Despite its compact dimensions, it has a wide range of functions: not only is tracking possible, but a sound of up to 100 dB can also be generated in order to facilitate localization or to help identify a thief. The card also supports NFC, so people who find such a card can also fetch the user's contact information.
According to Seinxon, the card is IP68 certified and thus able to withstand dust and water. The battery life is said to be up to eight months and can even be recharged wirelessly, which avoids waste and is easy on the wallet. Speaking of wallet, the card is available on Amazon at a price of around $29.
