Movespeed has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for its new See U Smart Display USB Drive. There are five versions of this gadget, with storage capacities ranging from 128GB to 2TB. Each variant offers both USB-A and USB-C connectors, with a digital display showing a range of data points.

The Movespeed See U Smart Display USB Drive is now crowdfunding on Kickstarter. This campaign has already reached its $2,573 funding goal, attracting over 100 backers so far. This is the Hong Kong-based company’s third campaign.

Movespeed’s See U USB Drive, also known as the SU10, is available with five levels of storage: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. Each version features USB-C and USB-A 3.2 Gen 2.1 ports, with protective caps, and a central display. On the 1.65-inch (~42 mm) TFT screen, users can view various data points, including the current temperature, capacity and data transfer rate. According to the campaign page, the display has an average brightness of 350 nits and a 170° viewing angle.

The 128GB and 256GB versions of the See U have an up to 1,000 MB/s read speed, with the other three variants offering up to 1,080 MB/s. Similarly, the write speed of the 128GB USB is 600 MB/s, the 256GB has 900 MB/s, and the others up to 1,030 MB/s. These products have a silver colored metal casing, measuring 24.0 x 82.5 x 11.7mm (~0.9 x 3.2 x 0.5 inches) and weighing 43.7 g (~1.5 oz)

You can currently pledge $69 for the 128GB version (MSRP $99), $99 for the 256GB version (MSRP $140), $129 for the 512GB version (MSRP $185), $169 for the 1TB version (MSRP $240) and $289 for the 2TB version (MSRP $385). The company is planning to start shipping to customers worldwide in January 2026. However, as with any crowdfunding campaign, there is no guarantee that this product will reach backers. It is also worth noting that backers of Movespeed’s first Kickstarter campaign, launched in late 2024, have reported receiving their product, though the response is mixed.

In a comment under the Kickstarter campaign, one prospective customer has flagged that this product is already listed on AliExpress. In its response, Movespeed suggested that this was a fake listing, stating that it was “currently looking into this matter to verify the source and ensure our brand and backers are fully protected.”
