Samsung has just launched a program that allows iPhone users to test one of the recently launched Galaxy Note5 / Galaxy S6 Edge+ duo for free for one month. The company hopes that after having played with its newest smartphones, the participants will decide to buy a Samsung phone rather than an iPhone in the future.
Apart from the new Note5 and S6 Edge+ models, the testers may also opt for the slightly older S6 Edge, launched back in March.
In order to be able to participate in the program, one has to be a resident of the United States. Another prerequisite is that registration for the test must be done from an iPhone. After registering, participants will be asked to select the carrier they want to use and pay a $1 processing fee, after which the chosen handset will be shipped to them.
When the 30-day period is over, participants will have 5 days to send the phone back to Samsung. If they don’t their credit card will be charged for the full retail price of the handset. If there are any damages to the phone, Samsung will charge $100.
