Apple iPhone 6s and iPad Pro RAM sizes confirmed
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are available for pre-order through Apple's own online store starting at 740 Euros. The 6.9 mm thick iPad Pro, however, will not launch until late November for most regions. Apple has been silent on RAM specifications for the new refreshed models running iOS 9.
In response, the developer tool Xcode has revealed just how much memory Apple has installed on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Both models will have 2 GB RAM, which is twice as much as on the original iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
The larger iPad Pro will have a whopping 4 GB of RAM, which is in line with many current high-end smartphones including the Asus Zenfone 2. The claim comes from both Xcode and Adobe, the latter of which accidentally divulged the information from its own Creative Cloud application earlier last week. For comparison, the iPad Air 2 has 2 GB of onboard RAM.
